All topics have a broader impact on medicine within the UK, and some have associated ethical considerations, which may feature in your discussions; throughout this section, we’ll provide more information on each in relation to the different topics covered. Having a broader understanding of ‘medical ethics’ from the previous section will also support you in being able to critically analyse the related ethical implications during your discussions.
Finally, we’ll provide some starting points for additional research for each topic, allowing you to explore them further and enabling you to confidently discuss each should they arise.
